Hi friends! Welcome to my blog.

I wanted a space for all my thoughts, wrestlings, and sweet revelations from the Lord. If you're here I hope it blesses you, gives you a laugh, or helps you to find a moment of peace. Mostly I hope that it helps you to see the Lord in a deeper way and with a clearer lens.

Writing has always been a creative outlet that makes me feel a little less alone and a lot more hopeful. It has been a gift in helping me to remember the most precious moments the Lord has led me to. While also a reminder to look back and see the many seasons filled with pain, beauty, and heartache that all led to a mending of my own heart, mind, and soul.

The title of this page is a little ironic, An Openheart. Not often do I find that I want to lead with an openheart, but often do I find that God is most glorified in my ability to lead with my heart open to whatever He wants to do. It is the one posture that generates the gift of peace and joy that I often desperately try to cultivate from within myself. So, my goal isn't to make you think life is easy, but rather that there is a heart posture to pursue and hold fast too that makes life worth living.

So, wherever you are, whatever you're feeling, my prayer is that what I write can make you feel even just a little less alone in a world that holds so much pain and so much beauty. Talk to you soon...
